I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

I order the iPhone 12 with $15 plan.
I know if you chose new number, Boost will activate the SIM for you within 2 days.
But we chose to port in our number.
Our current contract with does not expire until June which is about 2 months away.

Can we wait 2 months to activate our Boost SIM card?

Quick update, ordered second with $15 plan over the weekend. Displayed Error in status since Monday. Surprisingly got ups tracking number couple hours ago.

highly suggest the Boost one app to get 'coins' and pay for your service if you are going for the unlock.
$15 per month seems attainable.
I signed up about 12 days ago and I already have $6.00 in boost coins
the videos are boring and you only get 2 cents per video but it seems like it adds up
just go in the app every single day.

For example, each day you log in you get 5 cents.
if you spin the wheel 7 days in a row, you get a 75 cent bonus, same with watching videos 7 days in a row, 75 cent bonus.

Placed an order last Thursday, Mar. 30, with the $15 trick. Received it today. Couldn't activate the sim card. Chat agent said it was associated with a port in request and she couldn't get me a new phone number. She suggested either getting a number port in or switching to esim so that she could get me a new number. I had to get offline before I could decide.

I did check the port in option before I switched it to the new number option when I placed the order. But I'm pretty sure it was a new line I requested. Perhaps the system got mixed up.

I wonder if I don't port in and do nothing, whether I'd be charged for the $15 plan. Or should I get another number port in? Any kind of free number I can use to port in? google voice?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

So did anyone who got RTS try reordering? I'm kind of scared. I need 3 for myself and parents but I'll probably just do one at a time to be safe. Won't order the next one until the previous physically gets delivered (if it even goes through).
