I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

Is it possible to apply the ATT trick mentioned in the 13 mini deal on this iPhone 12? so basically unlocking the 12 using an inactive att SIM card

Got this deal a two months ago. Probably is I'm stuck with using the $40 unlimited data plan. There's no way to change it without losing the telephone number.

You would have to port out your number to another carrier, then port back into a new account/line to be able to choose from all of the plans. Thankfully I never ported my phone numbers during the initial phone purchase - instead I asked for new numbers.

Yeah, although the in-store price for iPhone 12 or 11 are much cheaper, the stores will add higher monthly plans + activation fees that are probably more than the online price. Plus online you can order different memory size / color. I'd call your local store first to ask about pricing and plan options, I think they wanted me to start off on a $50 plan, and charged me $35 for activation, I said no thanks, SEE YA!

Yep, I bought iPhone 12 + $40 plan. Then I ported my number from Total Wireless to new Boost SIM card 3-month deal from Amazon for $15 5gb. Now I'll have to see about getting initial $40 service refunded + unlocking after 12 months (although this should be easy I suppose, but its frikken Boost, you never know when/where they'll mess up)

Getting the initial service refunded is very YMMV.

Did you create a separate account for the Amazon deal or do you have everything on the same account?

I purchased mine on 2/19. Was able to switch the plan to $15/mo about three weeks later however, I was only able to purchase it 3 months at a time. Used my Boost Coins for a $20 discount so I still had to pay an additional $27. Next 3-month plan is coming up on 8/19 and I have $62 in boost coins just from logging every day and watching a video.
