I tried to downgrade my Unlimited plan in the Boost store and online, but I cannot get the $25 plan until my phone is unlocked, and you got to use the iPhone 12 with Boost network for one year to get it unlocked. I am three months in to find out I got nine more months.
Apple.com sells iPhone 12 for $599 + tax.
So first I wanted to get the $15 plan activated before buying the phone. When I submitted the order (PayPal), it said the payment was declined. I was about to go place another order with a credit card but checked PayPal to find out I got charged already. Did a chat with the rep and they said my account didn't get created but there is a charge on the account. And they opened a ticket for it to be refunded. It's been over a week and no refund yet.
So based on this experience, I am not going anywhere near Boost.
BTW, two weeks ago there was even the option to pay via PayPal, which should not be available when buying a phone. Which I used and now I'm trying to return the money because nothing was sent. Everything is strange with the Boost.
