I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

I hope that we don't lose the 7 days streak because of their dysfunctional app. It would be nice if they could also compensate us for the downtime Smilie

I just did the same but from an iphone 7! It still works fine but it's getting a bit sluggish. I've had no issues using Boost service

Yeah same here, although they were a little more generous with spinning the wheel I got 100 coins today. I hope they keep being generous for a few more days to compensate us for the downtime.

I only got 25 on the wheel today

Was waiting on a 15 pro max deal with T-Mobile using this 12 as a trade in but it's not looking good.

Hopefully the next few months bring at least 1 good deal

Anyone who's not renewing their line and hoping to get the phone unlocked after 1 year: Boost will close your account after about 6 months of non payment (a Boost account I bought a one month $12.50 trial on six months ago and then never renewed, was closed a few days ago - got an email about it). I'm renewing mine for a month every 2-3 months and will definitely make sure to have it active around the one year mark - mid next May for me - to get it unlocked, as per their terms.

Though if a carrier/retailer offers an irresistible trade in deal on a newer, larger screened iPhone (side note, this was my first iPhone ever, I'm using it as a secondary phone just to try out iOS, and I found the screen to be way too small) or Pixel 8 Pro around Black Friday, I'll probably just trade it in and not wait any longer.

Edit 4/1: I played myself because they changed the line termination policy or they're actually enforcing their policy now and I think they close the account after 60 days of non-payment. So my little experiment of not paying for the plan every month to see if it would still unlock after 365 days didn't work out.
