This kind of behavior - fluctuating reactive pricing - is part of why I don't shop at Amazon as much as I used to. I was intending to buy one of these from them but now that they've raised the price I won't.

F*** Amazon.
Surround sound works by adjusting the volume of which sounds come out of which speakers, and additionally by shifting the time ever so slightly. This is much easier to do with only two speakers.
