If you do not mind open box deals, you can get RTX4080 or RTX4090 open box from BestBuy at more competitive prices. I got my RTX4080 at $960, and I saw you can also get RTX4090 at $1360, or 7900xtx reference card at $799. You can return it within 30 days if the condition is not satisfied. I registered 3 year warranty without any problem.

Commonly excellent condition open box is 20% off, and satisfactory condition is more than 25% off. I often saw Gigabyte graphic cards have this open box sales, I have never seen msi and asus cards have this open box sales.

I've had two xfx cards, both had fan issues and were covered under warranty. Good that the warranty worked, but 100% fan failure rate for me. Not worth it.

I question why anyone who's going to drop $1k+ for a GPU wouldn't just go for the 4080 instead and get many more features.
