Deal HistoryÂ
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Be careful of Affirm, as this deal requires it. Even if you try to pay it full, you may be charged interest for a day. Not a big deal to some, but a little shady.
I wonder if it will drop even more soon? I am soo tempted at this price. 🤔🤔
I recently nabbed an open box 7900 XTX PowerColor Red Devil (local Microcenter open box) for $835.
I have zero regrets.
For a NIB unit - although I don't have experience with XFX Speedster - seems like a good deal.
I doubt if we see a massive reduction in prices past where they are now.
Maybe w/in a year this card is in the mid $700 range?
Is that $100 going to make or break you though, considering that you could have been enjoying your card over that time?

those devil cards had lots of returns due to hotspot issues and coil whine. there were a few reddit threads about it at one point a few months ago. I was tempted to grab something similar from my local MC but decided against it and went with the taichi model. Hope yours is not affected by those issues.

Do you really want a hard inquiry on your credit report to save a few bucks on a video card from a merchant with a shady reputation? Not to mention having to do that affirm bs that people are saying charges interest since the first day.

I mean, this is slickdeals after all- so not one click savings is ok...I am ok with doing all of the BS to save a hundred dollars on a top tier card.

Hotspot I have not noticed anything on even under 4K 120FPS sessions - that said I am not keenly watching it so I will check my temps more closely in the future.
Coil whine... while I am not SURE exactly what this noise refers to, I can say that there is something that might vaguely resemble it?
To me it is so much in the background that I don't even notice it unless I am specifically listening for it.
I think that the whole "coil whine" thing is likely overblown, where people are looking for things wrong with their products, chasing perfection.
We see it in Teslas and OLEDs and now graphics cards.
This will definitely do 4K 60fps in Cyberpunk with full ray-tracing
Not sure if you were being sarcastic or not. I have this exact card and it doesn't run cyberpunk @4K 60fps with ray tracing maxed out. I get better RTX performance with my RTX3080 than this.
I mean, if you're going to take a hard inquiry, you might as well find a credit card that gives you $200 cashback on $1000 spend and save $200.
Yeah I mean the Amazon card gives you 5% back on Amazon w/Prime and the Paypal card gives you 3% back when you pay with Paypal checkout, theres also the Amex Bread Financial card that gives you 2% back everywhere. All three cards have $0 annual fee.

What's the idle power consumption?

hardinquiry on your credit report to save a few bucks on a video card from a merchant with a shady reputation? Not to mention having to do that affirm bs that people are saying charges interest since the first day.Edit: turns out its not a hard inquiry
