The CU530 has the self-cleaning brushroll, and I'd rather have that. You also get an additional tool.

Besides the XL canister of this deal, all the models from CU500 through CU530 sold at Walmart are the same tried and true Shark Navigator design.

I have an Apex off a Woot deal a while back around the same price to replace an awful Dyson and it is wonderful. Can't say enough about how it performs especially on the mountains of dog hair around here. I don't know how these navigator perform in comparison but be it is a good deal.
