Super powerful, it has an adjuster to lessen it, but it about pulls my rug off my hardwood floor.

So powerful, a black hole is formed.
I have two Hoovers (these are old - like 10 years old) and both developed hose breaks. In my case, I was able to buy a new hose from a different brand and retro it in to work. Depends on if you can remove the end pieces or not.
