Learning to do a manual reading isn't terribly difficult, I'd highly recommend people try and learn, at least to verify the readings off of these automatic monitors, but honestly I don't think using these is great at all, maybe this one is different but I've never seen an automatic cuff I trusted, I've seen even the expensive monitors with an aed and 12 lead built in we use at work be wildly inaccurate on rare occasions, these cheap ones I don't Know if I've ever seen one that didn't read way way off at least some of the time. Keeping your blood pressure in check can save you from so many issues.
