It looks like the Bella "Pro Series" is also on sale at Best Buy for $35, (supposedly) over 50% off.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/bell...Id=6355792

No idea what the difference is, but this one has buttons and dials and such.

edit - Looks like the pro series does 2 waffles at once, is 1400 watts vs 1000 watts for the regular, and it appears the Pro series has a power setting, although the product description is woefully undescriptive.

Both have 2 year warrantees.

The Pro series can make two waffles at a time (once you pour the batter, close the lid, and flip it, the other side can be opened to pour batter in so you can start the second waffle). It's a pretty nice feature if you're making several waffles. It also has a temperature control knob - not terribly useful since waffles don't need to be cooked at different temperatures, but it's there if you want to play around with it. The difference in wattage is negligible since the power in the pro model is split between 3 plates (467 watts each) and the cheaper model is split into 2 plates (500 watts each).

This works well but ours only lasted just over one year. A wire inside burned through its insulation and ended up melting some plastic inside and frying the electronics.

It's teflon coated even though it's PFOE free it's still not considered non toxic. Just be aware. Some people are sensitive to that.
