My experience: was charged $ 391.96 instead of $ 359 because of Sales Tax and then a later "surprise" international transaction fee showed up on my Visa card. YMMV
----
ALSO:
I've designed a like for like replacement lid that you can 3D print, should you feel so inclined to customize that sweet sweet color to match your personality (there's also a slit-equipped version for fishing any M.2 to PCIe ribbon cables if you're looking to get fancy).
Picked this up for a PLEX transcoding server. I have my data on a NAS. CPU seems roughly comparable to the 12600 and the iGPU should be competitive with the HD770. Power efficiency should be much better. Don't really see any downsides.
I have TH60, which is mostly silent, but when performing some OS level tasks like installting or uninstalling CPU temp rises so fan becomes noisy till temp comes down. I tested this on Windows as well as Ubuntu and results are similar.

How's the fan noise generally speaking?

Good price, but it looks like this only has 64 EU Xe graphics vs 96 on their mid to high end U series chips, so it will be considerably slower than most Intel laptops when it comes to GPU performance, not to mention AMD's RDNA2 or upcoming RDNA3, which are in a different league. 64 EUs is okay if you don't care about GPU performance though.

Unless you're playing games this can do a lot of GPU accelerated tasks.

Yeah, better than the 16 EU H series chips from the past, but with more applications relying on GPU acceleration and Intel's integrated GPU performance already severely lacking compared to AMD, I try to go for the 96 EU chips whenever possible. I know the H series chips have lower # of EUs as they are mostly targeting laptops with discrete GPUs, but it's not like the 96 EU chips are gaming beasts to begin with, so would be nice if Intel made 96 the standard.

Intel Core i7-12650H the price only for cpu is 410 $ !
You cannot buy that seprately in the 1st place. That Price you see in Intel's website is the MSRP to the laptop builders but normally they that in far lesser price due to bulk purchase.

I think it's a bit overkill for a router.
