There used to be a large area of wild catnip growing nearby. I would dry it out and carry it around with me on walks. Any time I saw a cat I would set down a handful. Made a lot of cat friends!
Normally, i get SmartyCat, but this is a good deal and in for one since I don't use the shaker cap anyway since it's too difficult to get my fingers inside to give my fur balls a small pinch of ecstacy. lol
Thanks, in for one since our three spoiled princess cats seem to enjoy this Yeoww brand catnip and this price of $3.70 for 2 oz is less than paid back in Sept. 2016 with 1 oz at $3.44. We've tried other brands but this is one of their favorites.
We usually open up the catnip bag and put it into a catproof hard plastic jar, along with their cat toys to "recharge" or refresh them with catnip and also to rotate their toys. Two of the cats react by rolling over the sprinkled catnip and play with their cat toys by kicking and rubbing their catnip toys. The younger one tends to try and eat or lick the catnip and then gets "high" and starts playing with their cat toys. Each cat reacts differently or not at all and maybe they do have brand preferences.
You can grow catnip very easily from seed packets that you can buy from Lowes or other stores for less than $1 and they sometimes go on sale for 4 or 5 packs for a dollar from the dollar stores. I did pick some catnip and the cats seemed to enjoy the stems and reacted just like with dried catnip. But I ended up pulling most of it out because it is an invasive plant (mint family, so sends those roots underground and it'll pop up everywhere!) so if you plant it, probably better in a pot to control the roots. Just easier for us to buy it already dried.
I'm in for one at $3.71 shipped via S&S; THX OP. I never gave this brand to my cat before; hope it's good.
I'm assuming you need to crush/pinch the leaves/stems between your fingers before serving to maximize the effectiveness like any other cat nip that I have purchased. Hopefully the "premium" claim of this brand is legit and my cat likes it.

we have a bunch of wild catnip as well. i don't know what it is but a couple of our cats always get into it. my wife happens to be a vet and she said it's catnip. i think its pretty weird, a couple of our cats are WAY into the stuff and a couple others literally DGAF. we also have several stray "barn cats" and they don't seem to care at all about the stuff. yeah, we got a lot of cats.
anyway, if you don't live in the boonies with patches of wild catnip growing in your yard, this is a worth giving a try.
Yeah, I'm curious too...if any cat people could explain to non-cat people how this stuff works?
I have two or three cats that set off my cameras every night as they're out and about prowling the neighborhood. Often times, I thought maybe I should plant some cat nip or get some and see if they stop and hang out for a while... (and maybe keep the rabbits away from my flower beds). Would this stuff work, if hung inside of a nylon stocking/bag at cat nose level??
