That is the way it worked for me when I have used one of their rewards. Not sure why you should have to pay tax on a free movie. I won't use their movie service anymore.

That's correct. The only caveat is most of this free movies only redeems in HD. Just in case people wanted the UHD version.

I tried again to grab this movie from my xfinity app. This time, it didn't issue credit and I did received a text and email of the receipt with charge of $0.00. So, looks like they did change the method to handle free movies in correct way.

They've changed the process on their end. For the last three givaways or so they have billed $0 to my account. They no longer do the "charge and credit," which could sometimes make the bill kind of confusing. I have not been charged taxes either.

There have been a few instances where comcast did not credit me the cost of the rewards movie. They charge you then issue a credit normally. Soended up paying like 14 bucks for an old movie.

For eye candy, guys get Saoirse Ronin and ladies get TImothy Chalomet. Its a fun movie if you like that director that did LadyBird.

you don't need to 'buy' the movie. After claim the rewards, wait for about 10-20 minutes, you will receive a cell message saying that you purchase it for free. Then, go to stream, you will find the movie is there.

I cannot stand those March sisters. Boy do they get on my nerves. They're giggling all the time, making jam, getting under the blanket cozying up with Marmee. I find them a little mockish and twee.
