I realize this is a very slim opportunity for most, but I just had to post in case at least one other member got this deal.

BRICKSEEK showed none in stock near me but happened upon three of them in my local Walmart. All three were missing their drain plug I was able to contact Walmart for a replacement. Again I realize this is a huge "YMMV", but it's a great deal for hopefully a few members who can find them.

My local Walmart has these for about a week. Lots of Coleman and Ozark trail coolers lots of great deals but the selection varies greatly by store

is it really a great cooler? Its dimensions are much bigger than for a 50 Qt but it only 45 Qt.

I bought one when the price dropped to about 90. There was only two left at the nearby location. Good price for anyone that can find one.

Walmart is selling Coleman 50 qt and 60qt for $39 and $50. Why is this model? Just because cool look?

Yeah, the wheels on this one are pretty big. Not like the plastic wheels you typically see on coolers with wheels. It does make it a lot harder to fit inside the car. I was not able to fit it inside my sedan trunk. I was hunting for the non wheels version, but that one was not available in my area. With that said, these coolers are really heavy. I can't imagine moving these loaded, so the wheels do come in handy.

I'm no expert, but yes, these types of cooler do perform (keeps things inside cooler longer than traditional coolers) better. That is why it is so heavy. If that is important to you, then it makes sense. If you only need to keep things cool for a day in the backyard or a picnic, IMHO, it does not matter. Regardless of the cooler you use, pre cooling is needed, and these one will likely take more effort to pre cool as well.

The wheels are dry handy. I have average "ice life" although I never pre cool the cooler. I got it a few years back I can get a solid day out of it.
