Firstly, the article you linked just lazily states that the results are inconclusive. Inconclusive doesn't equate to useless as you suggest.

My take is, if you have gut health issues like IBS and you're at your wits end, this is totally worth a shot. Just try to isolate this potential solution by not changing anything else in your diet or routine.
