Hows it stack up against Judgment/Lost Judgment?

The judgement series has the smoothest combat out of all the games. Ishin feels clunky at times and switching styles is kinda slow and not fluid like judgement.

Ishin's combat is slower paced and uses different weapons for styles. There is a lot of crafting you can do for new gear. It can become a grind if you want the best stuff or are a completionist, but I never had issues running lower tier weapons.

Storywise, I enjoyed ishin a lot more. They brought in a lot of the best characters/voice actors from past games, so it kinda felt like everything
was on a grand scale.

I'm 30 hours in and only completed about 2/3 of the story and substories. It's a lot fun but combat isn't as deep as the Yakuza/Judgment. And the unreal engine makes the combat janky and really hard (almost impossible) to pull off specials. If you're a fan of RGG then get this. I feel it's worth it at $60.

Yakuza 0 and kiwami 2 are my fav. The main reason I really like ishin is for the story. They brought in a lot of the best voice actors and characters from past games and everything felt like a spectacle. Also, I had a lot of fun with the mini games.

The combat can feel clunky at times and you can tell it's a remaster. I did like the crafting though and trying out different weapons. Combat in the newer games like judgement series feels a lot more smooth and fluid.

Beat the game within around 25 hrs. The storyline wasn't that good . Too much running back and forth. Gets boring at time. I say wait till $20-30

Are you saying there are no fast travel options? I'm playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon and they have taxis that get you around the city. I would quit if they didn't have it.
