Discover it Card promotional 0% Apr for 12 months for current members. - $0.00
Hello All, I recently just noticed my credit card apr went from 11.99 % to 16.74 % gradually over the course of a year. I contacted discover via chat to ask why, ( I obviously know why) but I wanted to see what they would say and if there was any promotions they can offer. 2 years ago I caught this promotion 0% apr for 12 months. I didn't think they would be able to do this again, but they did. this is actually pretty good in my eyes. This is something that you have to chat with them and ask for. I have the basic discover it card and have been with them since 2018 and use this as my main card. Thought it would be good to share. Thanks for reading.

My offer was only for 10 months though. Note the 5% extra fee.
Or I could go with 12 months with 3.99% + 5% fee.

Anyone know if you chat/call/message, that you get a better offer?
edit: this was for a balance transfer tho so i think its different

(Also yeah, my APR went from 10.99 to 16.74% in such a short time, a matter of months. Crazy and sad...)

Okay, yeah maybe a balance transfer offer is different. So I did message, and found out that's basically live chat

Few of the above comments here are misleading. I was able to request 0% APR and did confirm with customer service about this offer being different than the balance transfer (that shows up in everyone's mail / offers page).
