Hello All, I recently just noticed my credit card apr went from 11.99 % to 16.74 % gradually over the course of a year. I contacted discover via chat to ask why, ( I obviously know why) but I wanted to see what they would say and if there was any promotions they can offer. 2 years ago I caught this promotion 0% apr for 12 months. I didn't think they would be able to do this again, but they did. this is actually pretty good in my eyes. This is something that you have to chat with them and ask for. I have the basic discover it card and have been with them since 2018 and use this as my main card. Thought it would be good to share. Thanks for reading.

Anyone knows how much I need to pay monthly ("minimum payment") if I borrow $25K with 0% interest (and 3% fee upfront) for 12 months? Can I make the same minimum payment up to 11 months? I plan to pay entire $25K before the 12-month deadline to avoid any possible interest fees.

Probably 3% of your balance that month, it would be in your terms and conditions. So it would start at $750.

I just googled it little bit .... looks like it is more likely 1% of the balance (instead of 3%) on the month or around $50 per $5K. so it would be around $125-$250. Is it correct?

I just did a live chat with Discover since I have a card. They said "$35 OR 2% of New Balance OR Fees for any debt protection product enrolled in on or after 2/1/15 + Interest Charges + Late Fees + $20". Again, this may vary by card/cardholder. So possibly $520 per month for a 25k balance, slowly dropping each month.

I don't. I usually pay off in full every month. but this is great if you use that cash to invest in T bills or high yield savings for 12 months and then pay it off after a year! Great deal

Very YMMV deal! I tried on my account (with great credit) got denied and was told it's based on individual account. Brother of mine tried (his credit score is over 800 limit on his card is over $15k I don't know exact number) he was also denied. So big YMMV but pretty good offer for those that can get it and manage it right.
