I wanted to like this since it is the consumer line of ubiquiti, but I had strange ping spikes in the hundred ms range every 30s or so when pinging the router directly. The ASUS RT-AX86U Pro would probably be your best bet at this price point.

I'd like to upvote this about 1000 times. Literally the best router I've ever owned. I have 2 in a wired Mesh Network and my wifi never skips a beat. I have over 60 Wifi devices connected. This router rarely goes on sale. Amplifi had it one time during Black Friday 2 years ago for $279, and I havent seen it on sale since.
