Are these cheapo mounts pretty decent? Never shopped mounts. Always have had an entertainment center.

I have this exact mount. So far, so good. My opinion, TVs are so light these days that mounts like this get the job done if you want something simple. I don't get fancy with pulling this off the wall to move at weird angles, but it's nice to be able to do so to mess with wires in the back.

Comes out to $15.99 for me. I bought one of these before though from Walmart and it was too narrow to fit on my 16" spaced studs. Great price if it works for you.

All mounts including ones below 10 are perfect fine even for $2k TV. The important parts is the weigh limited. Best to stay way under and it will be perfectly fine. Most modern led, they are super light so no issue. Would be more concern on those older, now ancient lcd that weight 75 to 150 lbs.
