There are a *small* number of bugs, yes, but overall the game runs like a dream on PC. I've been pretty much playing it non-stop for a full week. Highly suggest getting it now.
I said the same thing about Elden Ring… still waiting for that price drop. You might be waiting awhile.
Yeah I think I will just bite the bullet and let my wanting to play the re4 remake outweigh my cheapness this time : this game was on my list and dead island two once it releases : still gotta buy the dead space remake also : hoping silent hill games are released for pc once the new ones drop
Just got the RE2 Remake for $10. Absolutely loved it, but the similarities with the RE4 Remake having just played that are a little too similar. I'm gonna hold off buying it for now
Ya I think I'll wait on the PC port till some of the bugs are figured out . Also to me I want to get to the 30-40 price range

imo the games are not very similar at all. RE2R for sure copied a lot of the original RE4's control system but the combat couldn't be any more different. But ayyyy to each their own.

I WISH the other Resident Evil games were just like RE4. I never understood how they created a near-perfect third-person combat system, and reverted to extremely basic and generic mechanics. Simply bc they made a few bad games afterwards. Not that I hate the others in the series, but RE4 is so vastly superior and enjoyable to them that it's really been a wasted opportunity.

But I'm at the castle part of the game, haven't had any noticeable glitches yet.
