Edit 1: I ordered one. I can get by with offloading to an external. What does +fs mean?
Edit 2: fs is free shipping. Hah.
Edit 3: I did get an email asking for a landline from work. Called the 1-800 number and gave them the line and they called me back on the work line. Will update as everything goes through.
Edit 4: Got an email from them with the UPS label. UPS website lists the item as "Return to Sender Requested" emailed customer service, lets see what they reply with...
Edit 5: Apparently they stated they called my line and it was busy or disconnected, which doesn't make sense. I did not receive any call what so ever, so they recalled the item. At this point this loop hole is annoying and I've requested they refund my money back and I'm dropping out of the grab for this item.
I can't prove anything, but my honest opinion is this company is doing this to grab phone numbers and emails. Sure they're a legit company from the responses and other sales, but I literally called the number, gave them my land line. They called the land line not once, but twice in 10 minutes, second time was to verify zip code. Then I get an email they're sending it, and check later on UPS and it's returned to sender. I already verified twice, yet they hit me with another email saying they couldn't verify it.
This is not a "buyer beware" post, more like "buyer beware of the extra steps you may be to do 2-3 times repeatedly" to really get them to believe you aren't a fraudulent person.
Edit 6: Called this morning and spoke to Ian who is the guy listed on the email about "fraudulent credit checks" and because the package was already circling back to them, they are already issuing the refund. I did let him know about how annoying their check was and that I did their extra step already but somehow still couldn't get verified. He didn't care or felt like he already has gotten a bunch of these types of calls before.

Edit again, fs is free shipping. Hah.
It's no slouch, in fact I'm typing this up on one right now. However, if you use parallels, or just run a bunch of apps at once, this m1 16gb will deliver better performance for $100 less.
why isn't this frontpage?
