I had this and opted for the Ugreen. Maybe the one that I got from Anker/Amazon was defective but the colors were washed out through the Anker and laptop charging didn't work (actually worse than that -- it broke all charging on my laptop until I rebooted). I thought it was my laptop but the Ugreen worked fine.

I will say that the Anker has more bells/whistles and feels sturdier, but the Ugreen that I replaced this with just worked.

Please ensure that your device with USBC supports video not only power and data. I purchased 565 from previous SD and I have issues getting monitor to work via HDMi.

What is with these hubs and not having longer cords? It doesn't cost much more to extend the cord so that people can put the hub wherever they want.

I could be wrong but I think that's a limitation of the USBC connection to the computer. Thunderbolt 4 can do it but the docks are multiple times more expensive.

beware if you have a mac with the new M1 or M2 chips. two displays can only be mirrored through this hub sadly
