I called in and asked as I'm in the same boat as you and they flat out rejected me to get any promos. Only way is to cancel the card and reapply. I am not sure if I want to take a hit on the credit score for this…
It is slightly annoying, but most banks let you have multiples of the same card nowadays. It would have been nice to get this promo without the credit score hit. At least 2% is the highest of all my cards for everyday purchases. Thanks for letting me know you called in and checked.
Yea no problem! I am going to just keep the card once they convert me. I'll miss the propel card tho but 2% cash back on everything isn't bad either, just sucks we can't get any promos with the conversion.
I have several other cards over 10K and do not carry a balance.
Perhaps the "several other cards" is the problem.

3% with sofi... if you have a direct deposit set.. been using it for a while not bad.. I went ahead with this as well.. got 18 cards and not stopping lol

ive heard of that being the case randomly to others but didnt have that issue
Another card I have has a 1% return in terms of points earned ($1 -> 100 points) but the point redemption rates are skewed higher so that you get less actual cash value after exchange, eg. 6500 points for a $50 giftcard which is an effective cashback rate of only 0.75%
