Come on. Do not add pre-conditions to earn more. We are talking about no pre-conditions to earn 2% cash back on everything purchase and you just can't find the card to earn more. If you like conditions such as annual fee, member to open a bank account etc, that is a different thing. People may not like those conditions.

Simple trick for low interest rates. Find a credit card that offers 0% interest and a 3% transfer fee. I normally pay for all of my large purchases with my Chase Freedom card because it offers purchase protection and an extended warranty along with 1-5% cash back. Then I use my old Sears credit card to do a balance transfer and that big purchase only cost me 3-5% BT fee and I'm normally good for 12-18 months to pay it all back with the cash back offsetting the BT fee. Some even offer 0% direct deposit cash advances with the same fees.
This is no "trick."
You're simply paying ALL of the interest/fee immediately up front and rolling it into the balance of the credit card loan.
Paying the credit card balance off each month is the only REAL TRICK.
I have Old bad credit (charge offs etc) from decades ago.
But want to use a credit card to pay off a delinquent utility bill to rebuild my credit.
Would this card be good? Or too hard to get?
Or any suggestions from anyone?
You probably won't pass a credit check and be denied due to the credit score. Get an updated credit report and anything over 7 yrs still on your report you can dispute and it will disappear. The 2 best secured cards I know of are thx Cap One Platinum and Discover It card. Both require upfront deposits and whatever you deposit h your card balance. Also check out Self and Kickoff (for google them). Also piggybacking works too. This is where you get out on someone's credit card as an authorized user. I did this with my Mom's card and didn't get the card from her. 7/2022 my score was 590. Today,my score is 741. I did everything notated for up yop.xz
Are there excluded categories (besides ATM) from the $200 cashback bonus? I hit $500 quick as I put monthly insurance payments on it but haven't seen the $200 yet…
credit cards are never a good idea. posting these on Sickdeals makes me not come here often.
Credit cards insulate your bank accounts from fraudulent transactions and often offer 2-5% cashback.
Example: Target RedCard saves 5% of Target purchases your making anyway and can be paid off immediately at the service counter on your way out.
Zero reason to pay an extra 5% because you're afraid of the credit card bogeyman.
Perhaps a better statement would be: "Paying credit card interest is never a good idea, be sure to pay statement balance each month (which can be automated on many cards now)."
I got this credit card, made 3 monthly house/car insurance payments (they no longer offer paid in full discounts), saved 2% and now have $200 extra cashback, which can be used to get a $220 gift card to a store I shop at anyway since right now Wells Fargo Rewards is offering 10% off gift cards.
Neither of us is paying credit card interest but only one of us has a free $220 gift card for paying their insurance bill.

Costco CITI Card. 4% on gas, 3% on travel and restaurants, 2% on everything at Costco, 1% on other purchases. I get $700+ annually in rewards.
How much you spend annually?
Having over 100k at BofA is actually probably the worse financial decision you could make…
