Same here but I just waited a month or two and tried again and this time I was accepted. The reason given for the rejection was that I had too many credit cards open already. I've had two bank accounts with WF for years and already had another of their cards. I even asked if I could just change my first card out for this one even if I didn't get the $200 bonus... they said no. Then I apply a month or so later and I got the card and the $200 bonus.

BoA and USBank both have products with more than 2% cash back on everything if you have enough money with them.
For most people these various 2% cards are hard to beat, but since you asked.

What is the USBank card with 2% cash back on everything. I just got the $750 bonus on their business card but it only gives 1% on most things.
