4 ohm speakers - you need a DAMN good receiver to drive these correctly.

Those little $300 to $500 denon and entry level Sony's ya'll have just won't do this speaker justice.

got a pair of more expensive 4 ohm and the guy above aint lying, im driving them with a 4700x denon and a 200w anthem amplifier, not even the denon high end will drive any 4 ohm good lol. good luck! unless you got some beastly power amps

T5 Audition is showing up as $212 for me, am I missing something? It seems a mistake as the "Encore" is considered better speaker.

Recently inherited a ADCOM amplifier that would do these justice. Also have a solid Audiosource amp. It will be hooked up to my Denon X3700 for decoding, and potentially a Schiit in the future.

Any thoughts on these speakers compared to entry level B&W or something like the Klipsch RF series? Current price is way below any competition right now
