This looks like absolute garbage. Reminds me of what happens when you leave paintballs in humidity. You can pick up a case of 2000 for under $35 if that's the direction you want to go lol.
while it does look like a crappy concept, no parent is going to buy a case of single color paint balls of 2000 ct for $35.

Go to Walmart for your cheap options, typically sub $30 locally. If you look for 50 caliber rather than the standard 68 caliber then you will probably save even more money and can easily buy them in 500 packs. A specific brand of 50 caliber markers for kids would be the JT Splatmaster lineup. Youtube or google it, they have low impact versions so maybe give your kids a much more fun thing to do than this.
As for having them shipped to you? Good luck. Most companies don't want that headache since they tend to break in shipping and would be very hard to turn a profit. At field prices are generally much higher than retail stores due to this being where the field turns their profit. What cost $35 at walmart would be $70 at a paintball field. So understand they are very protective of their paint prices as it's how they pay for everything at the field.
If you want free options I suggest you call your local paintball fields and ask if you can take a free tour of their fields. They will absolutely allow you to and will provide you free face covering to provide you the full paintball experience. While there ask them if you can scoop up their used paint off the floor to "show your kids". You have now unlocked your access to free washable paintballs. Enjoy your new found hidden life socially engineering spilled paintballs. Paintball fields are littered with the stuff and generally outdoor fields just leave them out there. This is why I said this reminds of of paintballs that have been left in the rain. They will expand due to absorbing the water and will become very fragile. If you pick them up they will explode on impact. Think of those clear gel bels you see kids shooting at each other that explode on impact, it's essentially the same thing. Paintball shells are harder at production due to needing to be shot at 270+ FPS without breaking when the bolt makes impact with the shell for shooting. Adding water to them will make them far more fragile and large.
Citation: I played paintball for 25 years.
Update: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Zap-At...l/54380431 <- here is 2000 .68 cal paint for $32 shipped from Walmart. They also sell Draxxus which would be "competitive" and softer shelled paint.
