I bought this pair the last time they were on sale. FYI that the upper material is very thin and will easily wear out. I think this was intentional to create a light shoe, but I don't think longevity was taken into consideration.

They are all different. I think it's more about using sustainable elements to build the shoe. I wish they had the men's version

I have these. While they are cute, they are not comfortable. I don't recommend them.

sustainable or not, only having 1.5-2mm of rubber under any shoes are not good for longevity for the shoes in general. It's a bad shoe design unless you are racing in these and are willing to part with them after 3-4 races.

You can size up and should be good to go.
Womens shoe sizes are typically 1 size smaller than mens.
Eg W8.5 = M9.5

YMMV sometimes based on specific shoe or brand. Eg I was looking at a pair of Brooks Aurora BL runners and their online size chart recommended a M10 vs a M9.5 for the woman's colorway version.
