Do not buy! You been warned! Tesla has went out of way to save on costs so new cars are facing significant issues. fsd will never be fully autonomous. Do your research

I pay $297 a month total for full coverage on both my Tesla Model 3 and my Nissan Leaf.

That's still a lot. You must be in Florida. About the same price as homeowners insurance rates now.

Does anyone have experience in getting price adjustment on a recent order (just few days old), no delivery date assigned.

It's done automatically. Double check your invoice total - mine accounted for the adjustment when I texted the agent at 9AM.

LOVE my model 3 but wish I got the Y.

I read if you're in Oregon, you can get the model 3 for as cheap as $26k with all the state and federal incentives. Crazy good deal.

EV's are the future, get over it.

lots of hate in here, I fell into a model 3 (wife had one before she moved in). My take, it's an okay car, winter does suck with range, but never an issue as I put in a charger. My only complaints about the car is comfort, it's really bumpy and unrefined imo. I have rode in a model S quiet a bit and don't have the same complaint. The only other complaint is tires, i wouldn't go with the bigger wheels if I were to buy one, tire life doesn't seem to be great so far at least on the bigger rims.

More than I pay for four cars, though only 3 are full coverage.

Do you even realize how much electric it takes to refine oil? Stop refining oil and there will be more than enough electric left over for charging cars. As demand for fuel tapers off, less fuel will be refined, freeing up more power to charge.

You really should work on trying to not let your bias and misinformation run rampant.

No, they don't realize it because the talking heads on TV haven't told them to think it. It's the same tired old bulletpoints over and over again with no substance.

No idea. The poster asked if there's any way to possibly get the $7500 credit if your income was simply too high to qualify. The answer is via a lease from a company that passes through the credit, but then it'd be on him to find a lease company that does that.

I even posted a link to a long discussion forum thread on it- probably some company names in there if you wish to dig through it.
Probably because it doesn't exist with Tesla?

This typically is done with manufacturer leasing incentive. The Federal tax credit is factored in as part of downpayment.

I don't imagine the overall lease terms would be favorable but that would depend on lender. In Tesla case there is no buyout option at end of lease (which is a dealbreaker for me personally). Not sure Tesla offers $7,500 leasing credit. I assume no.

Here's a list of vehicles where this "hack" works: https://leasehackr.com/blog/2023/...-on-leases

No doubt Bolt is a real value for money. And I've had 2 bolts in past.
But it's not "pretty much the same car", when compared to Tesla. But everyone can have their own opinion.
And why 100% cash, that's good enough time to get approved from Tesla finance and then re finance later
What about the ass*****s dealers who want $7000 over MSRP

California can't even keep the lights on as it is. Add more electric cars in that state and people will be calling into work with "I'm sorry boss, I can't make it, I couldn't charge my car last night".

I've been here 13 years and I can't remember anytime my power was out more than a half day & not in YEARS. sure ca iso balk about nearing capacity on a triple digit day but yet... my power stays on & I don't even try to conserve.

Meanwhile Texas seemingly loses power in large swaths with every winter ice storm. Maybe they should incessantly warn everyone like California does?

They don't do price adjustments

Can an order be cancelled and put a new one in? Lose out on $250, but still $1,750 lower after losing $250. Anyone do this yet?

My agent has never texted me.. how do I get hold of them to adjust the price?

Lived in Texas my whole life and the storm in 2021 is the only time I remember losing power for more than an hour. Think your source may be exaggerating a bit.
