They are a notorious bunch , they will offer you gift cards , once you order - they will ship it and then asks the shipping company to return the package, later they will cancel the order and then you are stuck with paypal to get the refund. Shill company, i have had multiple such instances. Probably stay away from them to have a peace of mind.

Did you use coupon 63ZJZ8T39BRP and the gift card together , hopefully they honor your order. They had canceled my previous order stating i could only use the gift card on specific products . Good luck

What kinda of BS is this? I've ordered 4 projectors from them. Feel free to give a negative opinion on their performance, but the company is legit.

We have 2 of these. There pretty nice for low-budget portable projectors. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one at this price if I was in the market

I purchased the Formovie Dice Projector, variant of this projector (WEMAX is the ODM) 3 years ago from Aliexpress for around $500.

NOTE WELL: Make sure the model you are getting supports the Netflix app!! Last time I checked Netflix could not be installed on Projectors with a pure Android TV OS. Now Android TV has been been phased out for Google TV but I suspect this projector will be shipped out with Android TV and you will have to upgrade the OS to Google TV. Regardless Netflix support will most likely not work! You will need to find a way to get a modified Netflix apk that can be installed unto the projector which is what I did. This device goes by many names but only the variant that is from Xiaomi supports Netflix apk.

Now unto the fun stuff.

I paid alot of money for this projector (approx $500) after my ZTE Spro 2 crapped out and I have not regretted it.

##Pros
-Very bright and even brighter when plugged in. To get the max brightness the projector must be plugged
-over 100 inch projection
- very good room filling audio.
-USB port in the back to play external media, hdmi port, aux port too
- respectable battery life and size makes this thing a nice portable media machine

##Cons
-ports in the back are mid: usb 2.0, hdmi 2.0, no sd card slot and only one usb port
-the auto keystone feature aint the greatest, I am always manually keystoning
- the Reds in Youtube videos get boosted when I switch to certain Display Modes
-internet connectivity will cut out one-time after I power on the projector so I have to toggle the wifi connection on and off.
-the projector can read 4K signals but the output will always be 1080p

All in all, this smart projector has sat in a very unique place where its better than the stand alone projectors that you can get around $400-$500 and the projectors that are better than it cost waaay more.

Alternative is the Xgimi or Nebula line of projectors to guarantee Netflix support.

If i wanna use something like this as my main monitor for work, gaming, videos, an production of documentaries using the screen as a black board at 4-20 hours a day ; how often will I have to replace bulbs? Is this expensive? Is this a good idea? What is the perfect projector I should get for lowest cost? Technically the portability isn't needed; but im quite sure I could use this in public to teach people or entertain ; if you think I could use it for that (day hours mostly?)

Is there an ultra low cost good 4k one?

This projector has an LED bulb, those are rated to last 30,000 hours. In reality, something in the projector will most likely give out before the bulb dies. Disambelly on the projector is simple enough but dont expect much help from WeMax.

For the needs you described though it doesnt sound like you need a portable smart projector, a stand alone projector will do you fine. I would suggest shopping for brightest and not 4K to get the biggest bang for buck

Well I have to get high resolution that way can at least mirror a Android device. None of them are as low as 1080p. But pretty much all stuff I'm used to using is higher than 1080p for the last decade. I'm used to using several 4k monitors to do presentations. If I go back to using computers Windows os puts very little on screen @ 1080p. An thats kinda the point to using 55 inch plus monitors is to have 4x the real estate or more

If your audience is going to be 7-10 feet away from the screen 1080p is more than enough resolution for a 150inh screen. Monitors have to confirm to an aspect ratio, projectors dont. But if you want a 4k projector then by all means get one

Could have waited 4 days and bought for $246 since you wanted to humble brag.
