Especially at an Access Point. Making 1 stop to deliver 10 packages at an Access Point is in UPS benefit than making 10 stops to deliver at ultimate destination.

There are some UPS deliveries that are actually managed by a third party and are not eligible for rerouting, which I didn't know...
Of my Amazon orders about half are shipped UPS and half are shipped USPS.....
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This whole UPS membership ticks me off. We used to be able to get detailed tracking info for free; now they show only partial tracking info and request that we pay to get the detailed info.
This obviously is only happening because we consumers put up with it.

In my experience all the carriers are about the same: UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS have all damaged or delayed my packages about equally.
I'm using FedEx right now because UPS is doing this paywall garbage. Just received a FedEx Express package from Italy in a mere 4 days with no problems, and I got proper tracking the whole way for free.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting for a package from UPS that I paid too much to ship and that's been delayed an extra week, and I only get the one liner telling me the status. No, I would not have used UPS if I had a choice--the sender only uses UPS.
