Just like the Standard Excel DC, the Excel DC Tour electric guitar boasts a laminated semi-hollow maple body for an airy feel that adds a touch of definition to the dual Supro Bolt Bucker pickups' natural warmth. On the other end, a 3-piece maple/walnut neck construction delivers truly road-ready reliability, while the ebony fingerboard's medium-jumbo frets and 12-inch radius unlock effortless playability from the first fret to the 22nd. Lastly, while the D'Angelico Excel DC is a stripped-back 6-string, it's still a stripped-back D'Angelico; gorgeous 3-ply neck binding, 5-ply body binding, and a tamer take on the standard D'Angelico art-deco headstock rein in the extravagance without sacrificing the brand's iconic elegance.
