I used to have one and I regret selling it so yeah getting this totally worth having. Also worth mentioning because it fills in the gap on the bottom of your controller it adds some weight to the bottom of your controller which I feel helps balance out the control to near 50/50 weight distribution. With that being said I find myself using my controller more with the chatpad connected as opposed to not even if I was not using chat functionality. Sometimes it's the little things...

A:Answer Yes. The elite 2 uses the same locking system as the series s/x controllers.
I did find that there were mechanical issues with the connection on the MS Chatpad, though, and I've always wondered if somehow MS couldn't get that right and that contributed to them killing the product. Hopefully not an issue with this Insignia but something to be aware of.
