If you live in a big house with decent distance from your neighbours, I.e don't need 6Ghz then it should serve you well. But $200 is still a lot to invest in last gen tech.

To me range is super important was just curious since the price seems like a huge price differnce.

I've always found Netgear wifi gear good and this thing has massive antennas, the coverage should be excellent. A crazy bargain if you can get it for $99 like the poster above says.
