There are some bad user reviews for this particular router, however the issues the router was having have been resolved in the latest firmware. This router is extremely powerful for the price. I haven't seen a router with these specs for this low of a price.

Make sure you guys choose the correct seller to get the router at this price.

Most likely it is v2

So if you want trouble, just go for it.

The reboot/heating issue has been fixed in the latest firmware. If you're worried about the heat, you can enter the debug menu to run the fan all the time.

My router flies faster and more stealthy and will take this one down in no time.

There is a snapshot openwrt support for V2 of this router.
https://firmware-selector.openwrt...r_rax120v2

and a firmware update published on the 03/29 that claims to fix the constant rebooting issue although from the bad reviews online for this router they seem to point at design flaw issues leading to overheating eventually causing them to reboot

I just bought one from the seller in the OP. It came in like new condition. I got a V2. It updated to the newest firmware during the setup process. So far it's been 100% stable for 72 hours, and I'm getting amazing wifi speed on it. It consistently copies files at 185MB/sec over wifi, and that's from about 15 feet away from the router.

I wonder if I had V1 or V2. This router was very good to me with limited issues. I lost it due to a power surge unfortunately.

Don't buy anything Netgear. In order to provide warranty support you need to pay them. Their firmware is utter garbage and they do not stand by their products. I bought their 300$ router and I had to reboot it almost daily, I bought an ubiquiti dream machine for the same price and have over 6 months of uptime
