I have these x68 and they work great. I used to have Deco M9 and they were also good but these x68 are notably better. I know there is a newer 6E version of these now but if this price is a lot cheaper than those, I would consider these

Do these have gig Ethernet pots on the back on both units? I need to be able to hardwire a few systems to the satellite unit.

Can these be used as additional points for AX5300 setup(3units)?

How well do these work with the M9's. I have M5 and M9 right now and thinking about replacing the M5 with these. I know the M9 have a dedicated wireless backhaul channel. If I set an X68 as router would it still take advantage of the M9 wireless backhaul? I don't think they consider M9 as wifi 6.

is it any better than the builtin parental control features from the provider supplied units? I have FIOS and it's not much I can do. Can't set schedule, etc.

I believe i have deco variant of the mesh, dont remember which exactly s series, and you can not channel on those. It makes it impossible to play games via wi-fi because of that, constant lags every 30 seconds or so. Quick google check of these also says it is impossible to change channels on those too. So be aware of that. Also they have got app for controlling everything and its real-time monitoring is slow too.

Yes all decos mesh together, but you will want the X68's to be the primary units as they are more powerful and more capable, so you wont be bottle necking them.

You should not be switching channels manually, the AI in the system switches and picks the "most optimal" channels. I have no problems gaming on wireless and I connect to x90 unit thats on the floor above so if your having lag spikes every 30 second while on wireless you have a environmental issue going on in most cases.

One thing I realized is you might be connecting to a DFS channel, and if you live near an airport or radar facility that would be the problem.
