They sold out

They went through a bad phase. Some are unwilling to use them any more but they are ok at this point.

Just ordered one of these a couple months ago the drive itself is great, highly recommended.

It was cheapest on Newegg at the time, had no problems, shipped fast and arrived fine. I understand the hate though. I myself use Newegg far less than I use to.

Wow this thing is fast. I bought the Samsung 990 Pro 1 TB for $80, but I'm getting FOMO about this drive's even faster speed! Slightly less $/TB as well.
