Yeah they do. I done refunds before oon food purchases. They will not accept the food back, but will refund your money and tell you to keep the food. If you didn't get refunded, it's probably because you bought it from a 3rd party selling on Amazon.

That hasn't been my experience. Maybe it's because I haven't done so recently but my last purchase for coffee I was provided a refund for it being past the best by date.

Under where it says the "Ships From" then "Sold By" it needs to say Returns Eligible for Refund or Replacement with a pop-up that links to

Eligible for Refund or Replacement
This item is non-returnable, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement.

Now, that said...

A couple of weeks ago I got a $20 bag of bird food with a surprising percent bashed to dust. My first *six* calls which included *three* managers by rote told me Amazon had the product listed as non refundable **and** non returnable even though it had the above labeled on the product page.

When I said it was literally illegal to practice policies in direct conflict with anything a company posted in writing they basically said, 'Tough.'.

The mgr who eventually got it squared away said he'd send a complaint claim email for me to return with pics. But he told me I was wasting my time in so many words & his attitude told me he just did it so I'd stop wasting his.

The claim was refunded faster than anything I think I've ever seen. It was that big of a mess.

Amazon knows exactly what they're doing. They make (or keep) a fortune from their CSRs & the higher up's being that misinformed(?) shall we say. Sadly, it's up to the customer to keep them from getting away with it until government oversight finally steps in (not holding my breath ).

I'll take my chances… those exp dates don't mean much (to me) I paid $8 w/S&S; I know it's still overpriced but I'm craving chocolate and peanut butter- hope I can wait a few weeks for my next S&S shipment 📦 🤤 🤤

Lies. They have refunded me for every single food order that has been damaged or expired. Not many but they have.

The Aldi freshly made (without preservatives) peanut butter cups are delicious and not much more per lb than these. Try the Aldi ones and you won't go back to Reese's unless they're free for the taking.

False. I have had NUMEROUS refunds or replacements for food and beverage items that were damaged.
