I was a huge fan of these when they first came out up until the most recent deal. That batch was made with inferior materials. Doesn't write as well, barrel feels more cheap and plasticky rather than solid, overall, still decent pen, but not my favorite anymore.

I was just about post what AntSam9 posted ! I LOVED these pens on release, it finally got me putting my trusty G2 pens down and I only ever used these. I bought a large pack from Staples about 3 months ago and was heartbroken that they had issues writing and felt overall inferior from the earlier batches. I just assumed maybe it was a quality control issue....I then purchased from Amazon 2 weeks back and it's sadly the same experience. Why must all good things come to an end 😭😭

I never tried the OGs. When people raved about them on the last SD post, I jumped on them, thinking they'd be a G2 killer. Nooooo way. The barrel is really thin, felt completely cheap and it seemed more fine than .7mm tip. I gave them all away.

Like everything else, originals were excellent. Then once enough sales come through to get people to become repeat customers, they change the product entirely with inferior products. Seems like many companies follow this nowadays, way more than how it used to be.

I gave this pen a try, but was disappointed. The ones I got did not write smooth. I expected better from this company. Pentel EnerGel is better.
