Nice deal, Pity I still have the Ink Business Preferred active and just applied for Freedom Unlimited... A word of caution with their UR Travel service. I had very negative experience with them lately.
On one occasion, I planned my conference and booked the hotel with UR Travel instead of using the conference link. The price was similar, so I decided to earn a few points... That was bad choice because:
They charged the full amount immediately instead of placing a hold.
When I wanted to shorten my stay, it took me almost 2 hour on the phone to change it. And even then, their portal still shows the old travel dates and it took them 2 weeks to refund the difference, so that I had to pay the balance first.
On the other occasion, I tried to book a cruise with them - even worse headache. They do have some cruises online but not all of them. And definitely they don't have any of the optional packages the cruise lines now have to sweeten the deal. My cruise was not available on the portal so I ended up spending 2-3 hours on the phone with very ignorant UR rewards employee who wanted nothing more than to end the call.
And most importantly... The Ultimate Rewards Travel has been outsorurced abroad, to multiple call centers in at least 2 multiple locations (I heard 2 different type of accents, both equally bad). The UR Travel call center used to be 100% English speaking, very knowledgeable, very nice and attentive representatives. Not anymore. Upon your call you are getting to the badly accented employee who is clueless as to what you are asking such that you have to repeat yourself 2-3 times. Mid you, English is my second language too, so I don't mind repeating, knowing that my accent is also bad. But I also know that it is not that bad so I have to repeat myself so much so it gets tiring. There is also bad lag between you talking and call center responding. This is confirmed on every occasion I had to interact with them. The only way to solve this is to immediately request the US Representative. At least for now this works, but who knows for how long.
Thanks for the heads up. Refer my wife to sign up. That's 15k for referral and 80,000 once the spending requirements are met.
That's what OP said. 80k + 10k in branch.

How can I verify if I'm within the 48 month window. I don't have the statements from that time although I do have an email from chase sapphire preferred saying I transferred points 05/19. I tried calling chase sapphire customer service and she couldn't locate anything with my old account giving her my last 4 credit card numbers. All she could say was to apply for the card and then once I have it they can see if I'm eligible.
really, they don't ask for income and what type of work? one of my friend applied for this and he told me the banker acted like he was giving him a mortgage loan and asked for pay check and proof of income. this is why i am not comfortable applying in bank unless you can apply yourself on their computer
For anyone curious how to check, if you use the Experian app you can go to Reports -> Accounts -> Views -> Date Opened (New to Old) and count how many credit card entries there are in the last 24 months.
I went under 5/24 on April 1 and was able to get approved for a Chase business CC a week after. Then today I applied for CSP and was instantly approved. My last Sapphire bonus was 5 years ago.
If you have several existing Chase cards, it can also be a good idea to ask for credit limit decreases on them before applying for a new card, especially any cards you don't use often. You can do this via secure message, and it's very fast. I lowered 3 of my cards substantially before applying for these new business and personal cards, and waited a week after my limits were lowered before applying. I have previously been denied new Chase cards because they couldn't extend me the additional minimum credit needed to issue the new card.

Kinda similar situation, Chase cannot find my old sapphire reserve card details. It's like that card just disappeared. I downgraded to the free version of sapphire and got a new card with same number, but that card expired a while ago and I never got anything about it. It's not in my list of accounts, person at branch was also confused and nobody can find the account. But they could tell me I didn't qualify yet, need a few more months. Just my luck, no records but they know I don't qualify yet.
Too bad current Sapphire Reserve members are eligible. I've had the Reserve for over 5 years now, so maybe I should cancel it and apply for this? Would that make me eligible (no bonus received for 48+ months and no longer a Sapphire customer)…

Instead of canceling the SR, you could also call Chase and request a product change to one of their no annual fee cards (Freedom Flex or Freedom Unlimited.) Even if you have FF and FU already, you could get another one of either of them. Then wait a few days and apply for the Sapphire Preferred and get the SUB.

Just total income and social security That's all. Didn't ask about work at all. My wife opened same cc last year. They asked her total income, I remember because I was there.
I did online with referra it takes only couple minutes and decision at the end. also refers giving 15000 points. total 80,000+15,000= 95,000. i refer to my wife and works great. much easier than going to the branch.
Applied for Chase Sapphire Preferred card in branch on 18Mar for 90k points for 6k spend.
Applied for Chase Sapphire Reserve card on 19mar for 60k points for 4k spend.
If you have the capacity to spend a total of 10k in 6 months, MDD (Multiple Double Dip) is the way to go.
You need to follow very specific timeline for this MDD trick to work.

I think the public link just updated to 80K? But definitely see if any of your friends or family can refer you for extra points.

Nope. Just the person referring gets 15k. But I don't think we are allowed to put referral link in the post.
