Deposit on April 24th. Got bonus Aug 11th. Any reason I can't move all the money out and close the account? I don't see anything in the fine print.
I came here to ask the same thing. I got my bonus yesterday as well. I'd like to close my account and move my money back to ally bank as well. When is the earliest I can do that?

I ended up pulling all but $100 out and will transfer it to Dollar Savings Direct, which is 5% now. Will keep the $100 in for maybe a month then pull it out and close it. Only harm is maybe missing a future offer that isn't available to people that previously closed an account after a certain date.
Also got my $1000 on 8/11 with an account funded on 4/24 with $100k. Saw these transactions
8/11 bonus $1000
7/31 interest $353
6/30 interest $330
5/31 interest $316
4/30 interest $57
(all numbers rounded). It is interesting that the interest rate has risen from 3.5% apr to 4.23%.
The original offer indicated
. Hold the money in your account for 90 days.
. Bonus will drop to your account within 60 days.
so it is definitely OK to withdraw the money. For me, I would keep my cash position in the Capital One rather than the Bank of America.
May 1st - Opened
May 3rd - 100k transfered in
Aug 15th - 1k bonus given
May 31 - +$286.02 interest
Jun 30 - +$329.38 interest
July 31 - +$352.45 interest
So in my case I had to wait 17 days out of the "up to 60 days" for my bonus to hit, after 90 days of holding 100k in it.
Now just need US bank $750 to hit and I'm done with bank bonuses for now. Will probably throw most of this into ETF index funds, and combine rest of my accounts and throw the remaining into CIT Bank savings, since they seem to be the leader at 5.05% APY for now.
So stupid. If you have 10k. Then you're smart enough to have good credit. Instead. Apply for a chase cc and get 700 to 900 dollars for just using. Plus points are not taxable. This deal is worthless!!!
Problem is chase will turn you down based on income and now the idiots just turned me down for an offer THEY THEMSELVES MAILED ME where you get $900 for opening savings and checking accounts and it didn't even say why. I have a great credit score and three cc accts with them, so now this makes me want to stop doing business with them, that they'd then turn me down for accts without reason.
