Dental Assistant here work for periodontist (gum and bone specialist) I would strongly suggest to use soft or extra soft bristles. That's all what your gums and teeth need.

100% correct! I'm a dentist and anything beyond soft bristle toothbrushes causes excessive wear to teeth and trauma to gums. Medium or more stiff are good for cleaning car rims and toilets only!

Yet they still give one to every patient after their biannual cleaning. These are fine for a few days away from home (the covers are designed for travel) if you have a family and don't want to lug everyone's electric brush.

Once I finish my stash of plastic toothbrushes, I will switch to bamboo ones. We need to reduce plastic waste! 🌍✊🏽 so I will pass this deal.

Which is why I save the ones the dentist gives me and have a case that I put them in for travel. Otherwise I'd get a pack of these to put away for the next trip.

Jumped on these a while back. Small heads, not the best quality or comfort when brushing. Soft still doesn't feel so soft. The few brush head covers that come included are cheap in quality and finicky to get to close. Will get through this pack, but will be look elsewhere for the next one.
