    Not going to lie, I purchased this many years ago, I was 19 or 20, and for a camp ground it was perfect, it also charged off the rvs 12volt effortlessly. It was also nice that it was super quiet. For a toy" it's pretty fun to have .

    I have this. We bought this for my youngest brother, and it eventually got handed down to my kids. It's been in our family for nearly 15 years. We've had to replaces batteries a few times because they will eventually stop holding a charge. Other than that, this bike has held up very well against all the abuse of multiple kids in our family, and their friends.
    My oldest is now 17 and he still rides it sometimes. So, I don't think they a 12 year old kid will mock his/her parents for getting this. Heck, I even ride it sometimes to go check mail.
    Recommended age for this bike is 16+ but a 10-12 years old can ride it with supervision. This bike can move fast at around 15mph.

    Yes they can, I'm 6ft 200 and it gets me around, not as fast, but still fun. This is a pretty good price.

    I agree completely on your points about teaching them. On/Off is absolutely ridiculous.

    it took a few days or so for the coupon to be active in your account after the event. when you look at the coupon in the account it says it will be active the week of the event but it never worked and i only noticed it after.

    I'm 220 pounds and this thing is fast. Battery sucks though. 20 minutes if I'm lucky, being such a muscular stud and all. I need to upgrade my battery

    Quick and easy way to make these go faster is to add an additional 12v battery. Once the old lead acids die. Upgrade to a lithium pack at either 36v or 48v and you will definitely see a new beast in these bikes.

    My kids want this one. These are illegal around here but lots of teens ride stuff anyway. I just dunno if I'm that brave of a parent to do it lol. My luck, we'd be the ones to get ticketed.

    I was just watching the upgrade lead acid battery upgrade option and 48v Lion upgrade option. Simple enough to do but cost another $400 as of 2021 price. My son is 13 but he is very light (about half the size of his peer). I think he doesn't break 65 lbs. but we do have quite a bit of hills around. But man, 48v Lion gets you nearly 30 mph......can be a bit more dangerous.
