HVAC contractor here, just be aware that unless your duct system and equipment were designed for high-efficiency filters (many older systems are not), using these will increase static pressure and reduce airflow. Also because they are more efficient they will capture more particles and clog even quicker,requiring a more frequent filter change. Somewhat counter-intuitive, but the price you pay for better IAQ

When a customer advises they wish to use better filters, I get them to upgrade to a 4" deep pleat media filter set at the furnace/air handler.

Be careful running these in older units. Multiple AC companies have recommended not running these as they choke the older systems. I have units from the early 2000s and they recommended going with the low MERV and I have to say since using those my system seems to have better air flow. I just get the cheap 5 dollar filters at Home Depot and been working great! This is a great deal though for a pack of 4!

If you select the quantity of 2, and buy 4+ (so 8 total filters) the price comes out to 5.75 instead of the 6.99. 8 would have costed 43.66 after the 5% S&S discount.

I mean, these are only a little over $1 cheaper than 12 MERV NORDICPURE filters from Amazon which are some of the best filters you can buy
