Doesn't change that this deal is out there and worthy of a trip if you have a Costco nearby.

Lol same here. Been wanting a OLED but waiting for a good price. Only issue I have with the ks8000 is the interface is so slow and it'll freeze sometimes.
Same here. My KS is still kicking. Turns off by itself once every few weeks for some reason, but not enough reason to spend 1k.

I also have this TV and a LG C2 and disagree with you. Samsung has a better, brighter, more color accurate picture. The game mode also has lower latency. Best picture, inputs, lag, and remote tech, the Samsung is better.

The LG has better interface, software, processing, picture enhancements, and app support.

The Samsung is basically a monitor.

The LG is a smart TV.

Exactly, but software is important. To me, the built in apps is the best way to watch a streaming service because you are not introducing another device that could cause the issue including bad cables, compatibility issues, hdmi handshakes, etc. I am so done with Samsung and their lack of software support. They just need to move onto Android TV. And their refusal to add DV support is unexcusable.

I made the switch from the ks8000 to a c2 6 months ago. It was a life changing decision. I couldn't stand watching the ks8000 anymore and i am so glad I made the switch. just do it, not necessarily this tv, but any OLED (pro tip: go bigger if you have the room).

Hah, I've owned Samsung-everything. Failures across the board. Dishwasher control board fried within 18 months. Washing machine had to be replaced with <2 years due to massive recall issue. Dryer lasted 1 year before I had to replace a critical part that notoriously failed. The third party part was more reliable. Fridge lasted 3–constantly glitching out. TV was an LED with the annoying "flash lighting" in the corners.

Replaced dishwasher with a Bosch, beautiful. Switched to LG on TVs and dryer, zero issues. Better performance. Still have the fridge—I have to unplug it every 1-2 months as it comes up with a critical error warning suggesting contents won't be cold. It seems to reset that annoyance until the next time.

Samsung products are laughably terrible. I've tried them all, every single one has a bad story within a short while. I've owned LG and other brands. Not to jinx it, but far fewer/no issues. Relative to Samsung, I'd never waste my time and money again.

Not to mention Samsung went the "QLED" route for a while. That speaks volumes to how blatantly misleading they could be by tricking customers into equating it to the superior "OLED" but the QLED is far cheaper. I'm waiting for a technology that utilizes a capital "i" so they can just type a lowercase L. For instance: ILED they'll just double up on the L and leave the first lowercase.

Feel free to argue otherwise.
