Note that these are the "slim" version that only holds 100 batteries. The larger versions held roughly 180 batteries each.

Good catch. If you're the type to buy batteries at Costco these wouldn't hold a single Costco-sized pack of any of the batteries shown, unless of course you spread them across two which is a bit silly.

Find the original in-warehouse and it's a good purchase. Even the battery tester included has proven surprisingly useful when I've had issues with battery-powered devices--i.e. I test the battery and rule out that the device is messed up or vice versa.

I'm in L.I., NY and we have a OSJL. I am still trying to figure out how to work this "crazy deals". It looks like a great opportunity to get super discounted or free essentially stuff.

honestly they hold mostly battery sizes I don't use anyway.
I mainly use AAA and AA , have a D size converter ( 3 AAA in D size ) CR123 and a few 9v blocks.

I've got the full size version and I like it - the battery tester is very convenient (I now can see exactly where the problem lies - as someone said, device vs. batteries, and even which batttery went bad), helping with troubleshooting. Easily worth it for me to store everything together.
