I bought them with glass bottoms (plastic lids), much better!

That said, we have both and often store in the plastic for convenience if it's the right size, and then transfer to glass, ceramic, or metal for reheating.

It's on par with the Costco set.
These are great because they don't warp and stain and i've had mine for years.
