Subscriptions that are worth every $

Hi all,
I'm at a stage in life where I can afford to spend some money on efficiency, or quality of life.
I'm looking for more things to spend to money to make life easier or more enjoyable, or simply free up some time to do other things.

What are some things you would recommend?

I'll start:
YouTube Premium: Ad free video's for my family (ie. kids don't have to see ads).
Pandora: Find new music outside of curated playlists (ie. Spotify), or top-25 radio reruns.
Amazon Prime: This is a "duh" - but it also allows me to backup all family pictures for free.
Walmart+: Free grocery delivery (saves a couple hours every week), and Paramount+ for free.

Here's some things I'm considering:
Butcherbox, or some other quality meat subscription. The only problem is not having enough fridge/freezer space.
Some monthly "multivamin" package. I keep seeing Athletic Green's type stuff recommended.
Increase insurance coverage (ie upgrade car insurance, or get a home warranty).

What else should I consider? What are some things you can recommend?

Here's a couple more I forgot about:
AAA: Peace of mind in case I need to tow the vehicle, lock keys in the car, need a jump, etc.
Plex (lifetime): Ability to manage my music the way I want, and download it to iPhone without having to use iTunes.
Xbox Gamepass: For the kids, 1 membership across 2 xboxes lets them play a ton of games without having to buy games.

TSA Pre Check, or if you travel internationally a lot, Global Entry (which includes TSA Pre Check).

yes for sure Pre and Global Entry it also works great as an ID when you don't want to use your driver's license!

if your airport has Clear it can also be worth it I have a credit card that pretty much pays for it.

Youtube Premium. fark those ads!

I have way too many subscriptions now. I might cancel Amazon Prime but I am hooked on the convenience. Oof.

Netflix - Meh but all my family members use it
Amazon Video - Meh don't really watch anything
HBO - Meh also don't really watch anything but friends/family use it
Disney - Meh

I think I am entertained-out.

if you travel internationally once global is worth it. the price def between pre and global is 20 dollars.

depending where you were and coming into, using a kiosk vs traditional customs is nice at the end of the trip. i've had trips where it takes 20+ hours to get home and not having to deal with customs at JFK or Ohare is worth more than 20 dollars.

I used to do frequent international business travel. I got offered Global Entry for free from American Express in January 2020. Registered, got everything, and then haven't been out of the country once since then. When I didn't have it, sitting in line at Customs was a pain in the butt.

Amazon Prime (only thing I pay full price for)
Netflix (partially refunded by T-Mobile, pay for more screens/4k)
ESPN/Hulu/Disney bundle (partially refunded by AMEX, pay for no ads Hulu)
Pandora (family plan with wife, technically this is full price as well I suppose)
Peacock (on an annual $20 deal, intend to cancel after)
Paramount (I pick and choose subscribing when there's a credit available on a Chase card, and binge what I want, cancel in between).
AppleTV (on a family plan, would cancel if the others didn't want it).
Panera sip club (I sign up if there's a deal, sometimes get an additional offer when I try to cancel, then cancel when the offers dry up. Re-start a bit later if there's a new offer).
XBOX Game Pass. I did the trick where you load up the old Gold and then convert, so I'm paid up for many years on a deal. Unsure if the $15/mo will be worth it in the future.

If you consider Global Entry and Lounge access to be "subscriptions", we have two cards that each give a GE waiver so wife and I are covered, and we have lounge access to PP, Delta Sky Club and Centurion lounges. Both cards' annual fee is more than offset by the benefits, putting us in the green.

I consider a subscription anything you pay for by the month or year?

As I said, consider hiring a butler by an hour or by a day. Or, if you're 65 or older (in some areas 62yo), qualify for Medicaid and they will provide a butler for you free of charge.

Like others... I pay for these two...
Amazon Prime (only thing I pay full price for)
Netflix (partially refunded by T-Mobile, pay for more screens/4k)

Then I use movie123 websites or Kodi.
